Team Lead - Project Manager
Salary: 80k-90k
We are seeking a Team Lead - Project Manager to support and guide a team of 8-12 direct reports while assisting the Discipline Manager with day-to-day operations and project execution. This role will be responsible for driving project deliverables, supporting Statement of Work (SoW) management, and ensuring alignment between team performance and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily task delegation and coordinate updates to Statements of Work (SoWs), including quoting and scope adjustments
Track and report SoW progress, deliverables, and status updates to SoW owners
Ensure timely delivery of all SoW commitments
Organize and participate in customer meetings to review requirements, scope, and priorities
Manage associate access requests (network, folder, assets, remote tools, etc.)
Facilitate new hire onboarding and integration
Maintain regular communication with SoW authors and provide updates as needed
Monitor and report team metrics, including:
Skills tracking and team capabilities
Deliverable status and workload distribution
SoW staffing levels and module center engagement
Collaborate with SoW authors to resolve quality or delivery concerns
Serve as liaison between the team, Discipline Manager, and Business Unit Manager
Contribute to and lead customer-facing meetings and internal reviews
Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives, including support for Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE)
Participate in annual performance reviews and feedback discussions
US Citizenship required due to ITAR Restrictions.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience working with Pratt & Whitney Aerospace
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM system
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints
Experience with P&W ESW applications
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Working knowledge of gas turbine engine operating theory
