HireLevel is looking for a Warehouse Lead in Sparta, IL.

The Warehouse Lead oversees daily production operations and leads a team in achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals. This position plays a key role in coordinating workflow, supporting employees, and ensuring efficient operation of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Sparta, IL
Hours: Mon-Thurs | 6am-4:30pm and Friday (* Full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs)
Compensation: $21/hr.

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Lead:
- Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to team members to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor shift performance and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to maintain efficiency.
- Oversee production line setup and changeovers to minimize downtime.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are operating effectively and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Track production metrics and communicate progress throughout the shift.
- Train new team members on procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Provide regular feedback and assist employees with performance improvement.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills for the Warehouse Lead:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain production documentation.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of use with hand tools and simple troubleshooting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach All day periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
