Position Summary:
Breast Center Team Leader provides leadership for mammographic imaging service. Responsible for all equipment Quality Control and responsible for managing clinical imaging throughout the breast clinical service. Assist radiologists with interventional procedures, diagnostic and screening exams, utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Team Leader assists with maintaining MQSA records.
The Breast Imaging Technologist performs high-quality?screening and diagnostic mammography,?breast ultrasound, and?assists?with?image-guided breast procedures?in a comprehensive breast center environment. The biopsy technologists will assist with MRI guided biopsy procedures performed int eh MRI department. Breast Imaging Technologists will collaborate with the radiologists and multidisciplinary team to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Technologists are responsible for?ensuring patient safety, image quality, and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards. The technologists are responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.?
Position Qualification:
6 months - 1 year of Experience as Breast Imaging Team Lead: can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
