Location: Elgin, IL
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Night Shift | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience

Pregis is seeking a hands-on Team Lead Fulfillment to join our manufacturing team in Elgin, IL. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in manufacturing, fulfillment, packaging, production, logistics, or direct mail environments who enjoy leading teams while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.
As a Team Lead Fulfillment, you will oversee Packers across multiple post-production lines, ensure quality and productivity standards are met, support employee development, and help deliver customer orders safely, accurately, and on time.

What You'll Do
Team Leadership & Production Support
- Lead and support Packers across multiple post-production lines
- Work alongside the team to ensure continuous production and workflow
- Provide coaching, direction, and day-to-day support to team members
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Coordinate employee rotations and breaks
- Assist with staffing and overtime planning alongside department leadership
- Communicate production priorities and performance expectations
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and Pregis quality standards
- Monitor packaging operations for defects, inaccuracies, and non-conformances
- Initiate hold procedures when quality concerns are identified
- Perform and document hourly quality inspections
- Maintain retain samples according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Train team members on quality procedures and inspection requirements
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with established standards
- Partner with Quality Inspectors and Operations teams to resolve quality issues
Inventory & Production Coordination
- Verify correct materials and packaging components are available for each job
- Maintain accuracy within SAP inventory systems
- Ensure finished goods are properly identified and documented
- Monitor production performance and workflow activity
- Communicate key production updates during shift changeovers
- Help identify material issues and communicate findings to Quality leadership
Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
- Perform routine 6S and workplace organization audits
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Promote a safety-first culture and operational excellence mindset
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fulfillment, packaging, production, direct mail, warehouse, or related operations
- Leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and support team members
- Experience working with quality standards and SOPs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills and production documentation experience
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Work Environment
- Manufacturing production facility
- Exposure to moving machinery and equipment
- Indoor work environment
- Fast-paced production setting
- Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years of manufacturing, fulfillment, packaging, production, warehouse, or related experience preferred
- Team lead, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred
- Experience with quality systems and production processes preferred
- Ability to read measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations
