This role focuses on completing operational tasks efficiently while coaching and developing Team Members to uphold our high standards. Team Leaders are passionate about people, take initiative, work with urgency, and set the tone for each shift by leading by example.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in day-to-day operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Lead shifts, open and/or close the restaurant, and serve as a key holder
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new Team Members
  • Count drawers, complete shift paperwork, and finalize End of Day reports
  • Communicate effectively with team and leadership
  • Coach Team Members to address performance issues
  • Build and maintain a positive team culture
  • Model behaviors such as smiling, making eye contact, speaking in a friendly tone, and creating emotional connections with guests.

  • Developing and Empowering Leaders- Seeks opportunities to give others development experiences (training, teaching, delegation). Proactively provides input to identify and recruit future leaders.

Requirements:  

  • Work a minimum of 18 hours per week
  • Reliable transportation
  • Prior leadership or restaurant experience is a plus (e.g., shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, manager)
  • Be available to lead at least 2 closing shifts per week (start at 4pm), with one of those closes being either Friday or Saturday
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver license required as well as completion of all requirements to become an Approved Driver with Chick-fil-A Roseville/Arden Hills
