Responsibilities

Lead technical teams in maximizing success at each phase of the project lifecycle.
Manage assigned projects to ensure quality, schedule, and budget goals are achieved.
Lead project kickoffs, define scope, establish schedules and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement and enforce company standards, QA/QC procedures, and quality control processes on all projects.
Identify project risks and collaborate with Group Leaders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
Conduct project debriefs and promote continuous improvement in delivery and collaboration.
Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all OWNers and clients maintain safe work practices.
Lead, mentor, and manage assigned team members to support their development, engagement, and utilization.
Conduct performance reviews, providing coaching, feedback, and career development guidance.
Support onboarding, training, and skill development initiatives for team members
Provide day-to-day direction on workload, priorities, and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field preferred
10-15 years of experience focused in geotechnical investigations, materials testing procedures, environmental assessments, and/or drilling techniques.
In-depth knowledge of field services principles, practices, and industry standards.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects and resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Business acumen and a customer-focused mindset, with a track record of successfully growing client relationships and securing new business opportunities.
Familiarity with relevant geotechnical software and design tools.
Strong commitment to safety and the promotion of a safe work environment.
A drive for continuous improvement and innovation, seeking opportunities to enhance departmental processes and performance.
