Your Role at Baxter:In this pivotal role on our Final Assembly team you will work collaboratively with Supervisors and Materials Planning to determine staff requirements, prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully implemented. As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators as well as coordinate and prioritize work schedules and assign tasks. Knowledge of Excel/Word/SAPEnsure all quality and regulatory policies are carried outReview/Sign Device History Records, Training records and other quality documentsAssist your Supervisor with employee appraisalsWhat You'll Bring:High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree preferred.2-4 years' experience preferredAble and willing to work overtime on short noticeDemonstrates good judgment and can balance multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.Work in various positions such as standing or sitting and working in repetitive jobs/assemblies.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience or other Process Improvement program is desirable.Leadership skills will be a key attribute.Physical Requirements:The worker is required to have natural or corrected near-distance visual acuity of 20/25 and the ability to differentiate between colors.Be able to lift 70lbs and work in various positions: standing, sitting, and working on repetitive jobs/assemblies.We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
