Team Leader

Location: ManitowocHours: 6am - 2pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtimeSalary: Starting at $21.50Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented team leader to join our Fabrication team in Manitowoc. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations by ensuring technicians have the materials and resources needed to maintain workflow, while also tracking downtime and quality metrics. This position also serves as a backup to the Production Coordinator.Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Production Coordinator with daily operations, job setup, and technician supportMonitor production flow and ensure technicians have necessary materialsCoordinate packaging and skidding of fabricated partsTroubleshoot fabrication equipment (presses, saws)Maintain production display boards and document downtime/quality issuesStep in to assist with production tasks as neededSuggest and support productivity and efficiency improvementsPromote and maintain a clean, safe work environmentTrain new employees on PPE and safety protocols

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalentPrior leadership or production support experience preferredStrong communication and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and EmailFamiliarity with BPCS system or willingness to learnSolid understanding of fabrication processes and product knowledge
