About the Role:
Jack in the Box Joliet is looking for an energetic and motivated Team Leader / Shift Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll lead a dynamic team to deliver fast, friendly, and quality service that keeps our guests coming back. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with company and health regulations
• Open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling, drawer counts, and end-of-shift reporting
• Coach, motivate, and support crew members to meet performance and guest satisfaction goals
• Monitor and manage inventory, food prep, and waste to control costs
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience
• Ensure team compliance with Jack in the Box policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast food, quick service restaurant (QSR), or food service supervisory role preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math and cash handling skills required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Must be at least 18 years of age
