Education, License/Certification and Experience Requirments
- The individual must be a graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or meet clinical experience, didactic course work and alternative eligibility as specified in the ARDMS application for certification instructions. Required
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Preferred
- The individual must be certified by the ARDMS as a Sonographer and maintain annual renewal/registration with the certifying organization. Required
- Revocation or inability to maintain licensure and/or registration may result in termination of the individual. Required
- Individual must maintain current BLS CPR certification for healthcare providers. Required
- Renewal of licensure must occur 2 weeks prior to expiration date Required
