Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sterile processing of supplies and maintenance of the operating room and various other departments within the hospital. Assist Manager/Supervisor with various duties including coordinating daily work flow.

Qualifications:
Education
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
 
Experience
• 3 years of experience in a hospital Sterile Processing department required
 
Licenses and Certifications
• CRCST - Certified Registered Central Services Technician Certification from HSPA required or
• CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician Certification from CBSPD required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
