    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Assign technicians to processing tasks to ensure all tissues are processed appropriately.
    • Dissect, process and document cardiovascular allografts.
    • Inspect, identify, describe, and document allograft attributes for cardiovascular tissues
    • Evaluate allografts for acceptance per allograft quality specifications.
    • Document allograft attributes.
    • Perform sterile and non-sterile duties for aseptic transfers.
    • Perform any tissue processing activities as needed.
    • Produce complete and accurate documentation/labeling for above functions.
    • Perform all functions within Artivion SOP compliance.
    • Complete appropriate training records prior to performing associated functions.
    • Assist with training newer technicians.
    • Perform Technical Review of processing records and graft records.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • One year tissue processing experience as a Cardiac or Vascular Dissector or equivalent.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Good verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Demonstrates ability to organize tasks and manage multiple tasks to completion.
    • Ability to direct technicians and answer processing related questions.
    • Ability to meet processing requirements for tissue equivalents and quarterly processing yields.
    • Ability to maintain acceptable dissection and allograft quality feedback rates.
    • Ability to maintain acceptable technician error rates and acceptable documentation quality rates.
    • Able to work the required schedule: Friday - Sunday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM.
