Position Summary

The Team Leader is responsible for understanding and carrying out the daily functions and tasks as assigned by the Logistics Site Leader and Logistics Leader

Primary Responsibilities

Perform visual inspection of facility on daily basis. Assign tasks to Warehouse and Freezer Workers daily. Record and maintain necessary records to be SQF and AIB compliant. Troubleshoots problems that arise in the receiving process from Production to Distribution as well as Vendor to Distribution. Give instructions daily. Follows attendance policy. Observes department call-in procedures. Exhibits timely arrival and departure and dependable time habits including meal and other breaks. Maintains a positive attitude and gets along well with coworkers. Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others. Follows dress code and maintains a professional appearance. Can be relied upon to complete assigned tasks. Complies with established Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures. Works within a team environment to meet/exceed established production standards. As need dictates, both assigned shift, work location, and work schedule may be changed by management with or without prior notice.

• May have to work weekends and holidays.
• May have to work over 40 hours per week.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years work history in Warehouse and Distribution preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience with knowledge in industry
• Ability to supervise, counsel, and train team members
• Extreme attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Must be computer literate and versed in WMS/Information system pertaining to Warehouse
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision
