KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment

Job Duties:
- Successfully hand weld product based on production schedule needs
- Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly
- Operation of all fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, drill presses…)
- Required to operate, edit and program tube or wire bending equipment in the cell
- Follow production schedules, determine what should run and huddle with the team.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, layout planning, Value Stream Mapping as events happen)
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Value Added Skills:
- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
- Team Player
- Computer knowledge
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to train on any shift
- Positive Attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Working in areas where it can get warm
- Working in a smoke free environment
- Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
Shift:
- This is a 1st Shift position
- Hours are 6am-2pm Monday - Friday
- Overtime during busy season
