Team Member, Experienced Fabricator / Welder (MIG / TIG)

Shift: First Shift (with Flex Time)
Overview: Seeking an experienced welder and fabricator to join our fabrication team. Safety first, you will follow safe work methods and adherence to safety protocol, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Quality of work, you will be asked to perform and produce quality work, following specifications and working collaboratively with the Quality Assurance team and upholding the "Cimtech Quality Standards". Team Member mentality is a must. We have a common goal, to be the premier manufacturing partner to manufacturers, in order to do this, we need every team member to contribute, take ownership, communicate, and show initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

• Weld components using manual welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).

• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.

• Quality Assurance: Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.

Qualifications:

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, MMA etc.) is highly desired.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

• Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus.

• Punctual, reliable and conscientious with a strong attention to detail.
