The Opportunity

As a Team Member, you will be one of the faces of Ben & Jerry’s, creating great experiences for guests while keeping the shop running smoothly. This is a chance to build customer service skills, learn how a busy retail operation works, and grow into expanded responsibilities over time.

Whether you’re starting your first job or looking for a fun, people-focused role with room to grow, you’ll play a key part in bringing smiles, great service, and high energy to every shift.

What You'll Do

• Scoop, prepare, and serve Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, shakes, and treats with friendly, accurate service.
• Deliver fast, welcoming, and memorable customer service that keeps guests coming back.
• Operate the POS system, handle cash and payments accurately, and follow shop procedures.
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and organized, including dining, serving, and prep areas.
• Work closely with your teammates to keep energy high and service smooth during busy rushes.

What Success Looks Like

• Guests consistently leave happy, with positive interactions and quick, friendly service in your first months on the job.
• Orders are prepared accurately, transactions are handled correctly, and you reliably follow cash-handling and shop procedures.
• You help maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked shop throughout each shift, meeting food safety and cleanliness standards.
• You become a go-to team player others can count on, showing up on time, communicating clearly, and contributing to a fun, supportive environment.

What We're Looking For

• A positive attitude, strong people skills, and a genuine interest in making customers feel welcome.
• Reliability and punctuality—you show up ready to work and follow through on your commitments.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including potential days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and a team-first mindset (interest in future leadership is a plus, but not required).

Compensation and Benefits

• $17–$21 per hour (including tips)
