Company Overview:

Naya is a fast-casual restaurant with a middle-eastern inspired menu.  Naya lets customers build customizable bowls, salads and wraps witha variety of proteins including chicken shawarma, kafta lamb kebabs and falafel.

Position Overview:

The team member is an intrical part of Naya's team.  They help with food preperation and production as well as maintinaing a clean and organized kitchent.  Most importnatly the team member should excel at customer service; providing timely and courteous service to each guest, display a thorough knowledge of all menu items.  Most importantly the team member will greet every guest and ensure accuracy and satisfaction with each transaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation and Production
• • Ensure food products are prepped correctly, following recipes and Naya’s standard
  • Follow recipes and portion control standards
  • Wash dishes and tools during food preparation
  • Assist with inventory counts
• Kitchen organization and maintenance
• • Receive, disinfect, store and organize deliveries following FIFO practices
  • Maintain proper storage temperatures and rotation procedures
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, tools and workstations
  • Keep floors in work area clean, dry and free of debris
  • Ensure a sanitary, clean and safe kitchen environment, maintaining all equipment and utensils
• Customer Service
• • Provide timely and courteous service to guests in alignment with Naya’s policies and procedures.
  • Display thorough knowledge of menu items, including beverages, and adhere to legal alcohol service requirements.
  • Greet guests, take orders, and expedite as needed, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.
  • Ring orders into the POS system accurately and collect payments.
  • Assist customers with making change, as applicable.
  • Follow cash handling procedures, turning in accurate amounts daily 

Requirements:

1+ year experience as a restaurant team member at similar caliber concept is preferred but not necessary.  If a job seeker has a good history of customer service roles they can apply without the food experience.

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.50 /Hr.
