Overview:
TheQuality Control Team Member ensures that products and materials meet established quality standards through careful inspection and testing.
Responsibilities:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Examine materials, components, and finished products at various stages of production to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Accurately document inspection results, including any defects or non‑conformities identified
- Communicate inspection findings and report quality issues to Supervisors and Production staff in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on quality data, inspection results, and observations
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety equipment and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean, organized work area by practicing 5S standards; ensure workstations, tools, and gauges are properly maintained
- Follow all work orders and instructions provided by Supervisors and Management
- Actively participate as a member of the Quality Team, where teamwork and collaboration are essential
- Demonstrate proficiency in required inspection techniques, including:
- Push / Pull / Push
- Push / Push
- Overhead reach capability
- Second shift; training on first
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
- Experience: 0-3 years
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Foreign language proficiency not required
- Previous work experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role preferred, including a minimum of one (1) year of production or assembly experience
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify defects and verify compliance with specifications
- Ability to work weekends as needed based on operational requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation

- Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred

Working Conditions:
- Work inside and outside in all climate conditions
- Ability to lift a maximum of 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
- Must be able to lift arms above head throughout the shift
