Job Summary: The Team Member (TM.) role supports all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes and helps maintain an active selling culture by ensuring that all processes are held to documented company standards designed to drive sales.
Key Roles & Responsibilities: • The TM maintains a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner. • The TM contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service. • The Team Member performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience. • The Team Member unloads, processes, and stocks freight within the correct location while following all store merchandising guidelines. • TM performs Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building. • The TM completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on-time. • The TM actively impacts and participates in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store will operate effectively and profitably. • All other duties are based on business needs.
Qualifications & Competencies: At least 18 years old. High School Diploma/Equivalent. Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and comprehension skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs. Reliable and trustworthy with ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for a team member, the customer, and the company in all situations. Flexible and creative with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.
