Position Overview:
The Team Operations Lead - Interior Design will contribute to planning, designing, and furnishing interior spaces. They will support the team in creating practical, aesthetic environments that meet client needs. Interior design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities of the Team Operations Lead - Interior Design:
  • Identify and address process gaps, inconsistencies, and operational risks that could impact project success.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and day-to-day support to Project Administration team members.
  • Monitor workloads, deadlines, work quality, and adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Support team development through onboarding, training, coaching, and identification of knowledge gaps.
  • Serve as a primary resource for system training, updates, troubleshooting, and process-related questions.
  • Partner with leadership to review team performance, workloads, operational challenges, and escalation items.
  • Escalate recurring issues, performance concerns, and critical project risks as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review priorities, task completion, timelines, vendor follow-ups, and project status.
  • Review team deliverables for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to track key milestones, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Review project reporting to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
  • Identify, communicate, and help mitigate project risks, schedule delays, and other operational concerns.
  • Manage approval workflows and support decision-making related to project and operational activities.
  • Investigate, resolve, and approve cost discrepancies, change orders, vendor issues, and other project-related exceptions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Team Operations Lead - Interior Design:
  • 5 - 7+ years of experience in operations, project administration, or related business functions, including team leadership.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of pricing, profitability, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems and quick to learn new technologies.
  • Experience with CAP 20/20.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Interest in leveraging technology and AI to improve processes.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Team Operations Lead - Interior Design:
  • Prior exposure to interior design projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of health and safety codes.
  • Interior design experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or vocational training in design or related fields.
