Job Description
Under general supervision of the Clinical Health Services Manager, supervises the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical public health services to Ottawa County Residents. Participates in the development and implementation of protocols and monitors productivity of clinic staff and assures adherence to public health standards as determined by the federal and state requirements. Monitors the quality of service delivery in Clinic service areas. This team provides immunizations for children, immigrants, and travelers. Coordinates with other agencies to provide comprehensive health services. May provide direct service.
Essential Job Functions
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Required Education, Training and Experience
Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) from an accredited college or university and three years of progressively responsible and demonstrably successful experience in public health and/or health service delivery to the client population; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree preferred.
Significant experience in vaccines, immunization policy, and regulatory affairs.
Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of valid State of Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Individuals in this classification who supervise services to clients in a variety of locations throughout the County are responsible for providing their own transportation.

Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in a normal office environment. Delivery of nursing care to client patients may entail exposure to a variety of disease vectors and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
