Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Deep expertise in Teamcenter enterprise architecture and deployment topology, including 4-tier architecture, Teamcenter server pools, TCCS, web tier using Tomcat/Java EE, and FSC/FMS architecture.
- Strong BMIDE data-model design experience covering business objects, properties, GRM rules, extension points, and configuration governance.
- Ability to define project-based, enterprise, and multi-site Teamcenter architecture strategies.
- Experience designing scalable and highly available Teamcenter environments using load balancing, clustering, resilient server pools, and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database sizing, performance considerations, and Teamcenter volume strategy.
- Experience defining Teamcenter upgrade and migration strategies, including Active Workspace migration roadmaps.
- Enterprise integration architecture experience across ERP/SAP, MES, CAD, data lake, and downstream platforms.
- Understanding of Teamcenter licensing models, license demand, allocation, and architecture impacts.
- Experience producing solution architecture documentation, HLDs, LLDs, architecture standards, and decision records.
- Ability to lead architecture reviews, technical governance, design assurance, and multi-vendor solution alignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end Teamcenter solution architecture, deployment topology, environment strategy, and technical standards.
- Design 4-tier deployments covering Teamcenter server pools, TCCS, Tomcat/Java EE web tiers, and FSC/FMS components.
- Govern BMIDE data-model design for business objects, properties, GRM rules, extension points, and template packaging.
- Define project, enterprise, and multi-site strategies aligned with business, performance, security, and support requirements.
- Design scalability and high-availability patterns across load balancers, clusters, databases, volumes, and shared services.
- Lead database and infrastructure sizing with Oracle/SQL Server, storage, network, and platform teams.
- Develop Teamcenter upgrade, migration, coexistence, and Active Workspace adoption roadmaps.
- Define enterprise integration architecture for ERP/SAP, MES, CAD, data lake, and other business systems.
- Assess Teamcenter licensing requirements and incorporate license constraints into solution design and rollout planning.
- Create and maintain HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, standards, review records, and technical decision documentation.
- Chair architecture reviews and govern solution compliance across internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
