Teamcenter Solution Architect

Job Description

• Defining the overall data migration strategy, developing detailed migration plans, and establishing timelines and resource allocation.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Teamcenter solutions, Should have experience in designing, developing, and implementing Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions.
• Should have In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter modules, data model, architecture, and integration frameworks.
• Analyzing legacy system data structures, workflows, and dependencies to understand data characteristics and map it to the Teamcenter data model.
• Should have experience with Teamcenter ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, Java, XSLT, HTML, and other relevant technologies.
• Defining and implementing data transformation rules, creating migration scripts, and loading data into Teamcenter using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into effective Teamcenter solutions.
• Conducting thorough testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Managing migration projects, including timelines, resources, risk assessment, and progress tracking.
• Defining the overall structure and components of the Teamcenter solution, including data models, workflows, and integrations.
• Overseeing the installation, configuration, and customization of Teamcenter, including client and server-side components.
• Integrating Teamcenter with other systems like SAP, CAD tools, and other enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in data migration tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python, scripting languages for Teamcenter), and database technologies.
• Ensuring the solution performs efficiently and meets performance requirements.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to development teams, enforcing standards, and promoting best practices.
• Managing the technical aspects of Teamcenter projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding PLM principles, processes, and best practices and Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• 2Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and manage migration projects effectively.
