This position is responsible for using soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and STB units. A solid understanding of RF transmission, amplification and receiving electronic circuitry is required.
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00PM - 11:45PM [MON-FRI]
Hourly Pay Rate $21.45
- Requirements:
- 2+ years thru-hole and surface-mount soldering.
- Component-level soldering repair required. RF (radio frequency) acumen required.
- Testing/Troubleshooting/Repair of PCBs (printed circuit boards) at the component-level.
- Associate will be working on radio antennas / amplifier transmitters.
- Heavy equipment of 50+lbs. Will not be required to lift, but must be willing to work with heavy electronic equipment. (i.e. slide radios on a conveyor belt)
- RF Techs will have an assigned workbench that will be a shared workspace between 1st shift & 2nd shift technicians.
- Computer literate. Basic computer proficiency & data entry. Be able to navigate computer applications (i.e. MS Office).
- Communicate with others in English. Training will be conducted in English. All technicians must be able to communicate with the team in English.
- REQUIRED: Safety-toe shoes are required. Techs will be working around heavy equipment.
