A Cardiac ECHO Sonographer opportunity is available in Farmington, NM at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. The facility holds PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditation and offers a broad range of services including a cancer center, childbirth center, inpatient behavioral health unit, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and extensive imaging services.

The role. The Cardiac ECHO Sonographer works within the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services department, performing cardiac echocardiography across all age groups using GE Vivid E95 equipment. The position requires proficiency in adult echocardiography, with pediatric ECHO experience considered a strong asset. Clinical documentation is managed through Cerner EHR. Candidates should have at least 2 years of acute care experience in cardiac echo sonography.

What we're looking for.

  • Certification of CCI or RDCS
  • BLS required upon submission
  • All other required certifications can be obtained after hire
  • Adult ECHO experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
  • Pediatric ECHO experience preferred

Schedule. Day shift; call required every 5th week for one week, with weekend call only every 5th weekend.

Compensation. $32.43 - $51.88/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
