| Job Description: | Job title: Tech Lead/Architect Role is hybrid (3 days/wk) based out of Atlanta, GA Tech Skills Required: TPF Assembler, IBM Z-Series / LPAR / CF C / C++ on z/TPF - ECB & Storage Management Lead end-to-end architecture of TPF / z/TPF transaction systems Define modernization roadmaps for legacy TPF environments Drive decisions on ECB design, storage pools & TPFDF data management Implement z/TPF: 64-bit, TCP/IP, XML & web services Establish coding standards and architectural best practices Oversee & participate in TPF program development in Assembler & C/C++ Lead performance tuning & bottleneck analysis across subsystems Approve HLD/LLD documents, code reviews & test plans Drive migration: TPF z/TPF, Assembler C modernization Manage SELCAL, OAG & airline / GDS integration points Lead cross-functional teams of TPF devs, testers & sys programmers Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level TPF engineers Act as primary technical PoC for client stakeholders & business teams Collaborate with infra, network & security for end-to-end delivery Participate in architecture reviews, sprints & exec status reporting Good to Have: IBM Certified Systems Expert z/TPF or equivalent mainframe cert TPF DevOps toolchains: automated testing & CI/CD for mainframe Cloud integration patterns for TPF hybrid architectures (AWS / Azure + z/TPF) ITIL processes incident, change & problem management Prior experience as Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect NDC (New Distribution Capability) & IATA standards in airline domain Years of experience required: 8-15 |
