Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Test Automation, specifically in CAPL, Python, and JScript. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a proven track record of developing and implementing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of software products. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team and effectively communicate with cross functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using
and JScript.
Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of code.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Provide training and mentorship to junior QA team members on automation best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in QA automation.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Test Automation using CAPL, Python, and JScript.
Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
Experience with cloud based testing environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in QA automation testing.
Proven track record of successful test automation projects.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
