Job Title: Senior Software Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a strong emphasis on GCP Cloud Security to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, a deep understanding of cloud security principles, and a proven track record of delivering secure and scalable applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications in alignment with business requirements.
Implement and enforce GCP Cloud Security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and security.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in applications.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and cloud security.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to their professional growth.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in GCP Cloud Security, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
Experience with cloud native application development and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud security.
Proven experience in leading software development projects and teams.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
