Job Title: SRE
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. This role is crucial for enhancing our platform capabilities and driving our DevOps initiatives forward.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support application deployment and scaling.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization.
Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps and cloud platforms.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting.
Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
