Role : Infrastructure Project Manager
Duration: 06-12 Months
Location: Remote
Position Description
Minimally must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8 years of IT project management experience. Five years of Infrastructure experience.
PMP or equivalent experience preferred. Expertise in formal PMI project management processes.
Strong communication, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills are essential.
Ability to adjust communication style to the audience.
Ability to drive projects to deadlines and budgets. Experience with Google Office and ServiceNow project management preferred.
Role Expectations:
Knowledge/experience of networks and terms
Knowledge/experience of IP addressing
Knowledge/experience of network structure (bandwidth, latency, etc.)
Understanding of firewall and security terms and rules
Understanding of storage and active directory
Will require occasional night and weekend work, primarily around go-lives
Possible onsite travel related to go-lives, possibly 1 to 4 a year
Driving projects forward to set and sometimes aggressive deadlines and budgets
Follow Ascension PMO processes (based on PMI standards)
Manage project deliverables in ServiceNow (PPM) Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive)
Develop and maintain project management deliverables including project charters, RACIs, communication plans, test plans, and project schedules.
Manage project resource plans in ServiceNow
Create the project budget and manage project finances
Drive project process through project meetings, minutes, task assignments, setting deadlines and follow ups.
Holding resources accountable for deadlines
Identifying risks and issues.
Driving remediation of risks and resolution of issues.
Reporting to portfolio and tower leaders
Maintain a close relationship with leadership and stakeholders by providing regular reports, ad hoc reports, and addressing concerns.
Adapt communication to various levels (resources, leaders, stakeholders)
Manage subprojects
