Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and equipment standards while providing excellent patient support throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Document imaging procedures and manage patient records accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH.
• Possess current MRI certification and registration from ARRT or ARMRIT.
• Demonstrate at least one year of MRI experience.
• Have relevant equipment experience and technical competency.
• Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Hold an Associate's degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
