Technical Analyst 

Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: 12+ Months

Role Summary:
Seeking a Technical Analyst to support technology media reviews through product testing, benchmarking, competitive analysis, technical documentation, demonstrations, and troubleshooting. Must be able to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and test products for technology media reviews, including competitor comparisons.
• Execute industry-standard benchmarks using accurate, repeatable testing methodologies.
• Develop/maintain test procedures, document results, analyze metrics, and prepare technical write-ups.
• Create Reviewer Guides, speaking points, demo scripts, and product background materials.
• Demonstrate products, software, and solutions to industry media in-person and remotely.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to media analysts and technology press.
• Research competitor products and compare published reviews with internal lab results.
• Work with product/engineering teams to resolve technical issues and maintain testing equipment.
• Support technical evangelism and participate in internal product briefings.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android, Linux, Windows, Chrome, and client hardware/software systems.
• Experience with technical product testing, benchmarking, or technology reviews.
• Knowledge of network file protocols.
• Experience using AI tools.
• Strong technical documentation, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technology to non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer-service and organizational skills.
