Tech Support, End-Point Device Support, & Management

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite for first three months; then Hybrid - 40% Onsite / 60% Remote, depending on operational needs
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 09/08/2026 - 06/30/2027. Historically, these roles are extended for an additional year.

Role Overview

This Tech Support, End-Point Device Support, & Management position will work closely with Security Team, Network Team, Application Teams/Developers, Business Areas and End-Users. PSERS seeks someone with 1-2 years of relevant work experience. The position will be required to be in the office for the first three months. Hybrid work will then depend on operational needs, with telework days rotated with an in-office rotation and averaging 3 days a week.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member of the Technical Services Support Team.
• Provide client endpoint support for laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
• Troubleshoot and maintain desktop, laptop and mobile device hardware and software.
• Create PowerShell scripts for reporting and automation.
• Support Microsoft Teams video, meetings and collaboration.
• Support Office 365 productivity applications.
• Utilize SCCM, Intune and AD Group Policies to keep devices updated, distribute software and apply controls to maintain security of end-point devices.

Required Technical Skills

• 1-2 years' experience troubleshooting and maintenance of Technical Support, End-Point Device Support, & Management.
• Client endpoint support for laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
• Creating PowerShell scripts for reporting and automation.
• Microsoft Teams video, meetings, collaboration support.
• Office 365 productivity application support.
• Troubleshooting desktop/laptop/mobile device issues hardware and software.
• Utilize SCCM, Intune, & AD Group Policies to keep devices updated, distribute software, & apply controls to maintain security of end-point devices.
• Composing clear well formatted technical documentation for end-users and technical Support teams.
• Providing Microsoft Windows OS support in an enterprise environment.
• SCCM and MDM to manage Windows, iOS, and Android end user devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Directory, Groups/Users/Group Policy Management.
• Installing, configuring, supporting apps on mobile phones in an enterprise environment.
• Supporting Microsoft Teams issues, conference room setup and support.
• Supporting mobile users, laptops/tablets/smart phones.
• Troubleshooting web browser application issues.
• Scripting skills (VB Script, PowerShell).
• Change oriented actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways.
• Demonstrated customer focus, building strong customer relationships, and providing timely and courteous technical support.
