Tech Support Technician (W2 Contract)

Location: New Carlisle, IN (Onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension
Pay Rate: $22–$25/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Back Half Shift – Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (10-hour shifts)



About the Role

Russell Tobin is seeking a Tech Support Technician to support a leading global technology-driven organization. This is an onsite role ideal for candidates looking to grow their IT support experience in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end users across a variety of systems and tools
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines for issue resolution
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams when necessary



Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 0–3 years of experience in IT support or a related role
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, systems, and troubleshooting methods
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision in a structured environment


Work Environment

  • Onsite role in New Carlisle, IN
  • Structured support environment with defined processes and supervision
