DenaliTEK is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) who takes ownership of client technology environments and ensures they remain secure, stable, and continuously improving.

Working on the proactive side of our technical team, the TAM serves as the primary client-facing contact, partnering directly with customer decision-makers and owning the overall technology relationship. You will act as the technical steward for assigned clients—guiding strategy, aligning systems with best practices, and driving long-term success.

This role is focused on proactive management and strategy rather than reactive ticket-based support.

Additionally, this role requires you to be local and capable of daily onsite visits to assigned client locations. The TSM serves as a Tier 2 escalation point for our service center technicians and participates in a weekly on-call rotation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and maintain the overall health, performance, and lifecycle of assigned client environments, ensuring infrastructure remains secure, supported, and aligned with best practices
  • Ensure client environments align with security standards, best practices, and lifecycle planning
  • Serve as a strategic technology advisor to client leadership
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement—and proactively address them
  • Translate technical issues into clear business impact and actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure execution aligns with client strategy and expectations
  • Manage multiple client relationships while maintaining a high level of service and trust

Requirements

What You’ll Do

Technical Experience

You should have strong experience across a broad range of infrastructure technologies, including several of the following:

  • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
  • Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Networking (firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Endpoint management and patching
  • Virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • Cybersecurity tools and best practices
  • MSP platforms such as ConnectWise, IT Glue, and Lifecycle Insights

Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly preferred.
