Technical Accounting & Reporting ManagerLocation: Edison, NJ - 4 days in officeDepartment: Finance & AccountingHybrid/RemoteAbout the RoleWe're seeking a Technical Accounting & Reporting Manager to provide technical accounting expertise and ensure accurate, compliant consolidated financial reporting. This role supports leadership with clear financial insights, strong accounting guidance, and improved reporting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Accounting & ComplianceResearch and interpret complex accounting standards (ASC, SEC, GAAP).Prepare technical accounting memos and support non‑routine transactions.Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with GAAP.Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements.Financial Reporting & Audit SupportPrepare and review consolidated financial statements and disclosures.Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.Ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and systems.Controls, Processes & SystemsSupport internal controls within the accounting cycle.Identify opportunities to streamline close and reporting processes.Partner with systems/IT teams to enhance reporting accuracy.Cross‑Functional CollaborationWork with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Operations on accounting impacts of contracts and transactions.Provide guidance during deal structuring and contract reviews.Communicate accounting policies to non‑finance teams.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Active CPA required.6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or complex technical accounting work.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 606, ASC 842, consolidation).Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.Strong analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
