The Technical Administrative Assistant II provides advanced administrative support to field teams and deployable personnel, including managing complex travel logistics, medical clearances, and high-level administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Also, this role will provide administrative and technical support to ensure smooth daily operations and serve as a key coordination point between technical teams, leadership, and external customers.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and manage comprehensive deployment packages.

  • Coordinate and manage detailed travel logistics for field teams.

  • Oversee and manage comprehensive medical, dental, and vision requirements for deployed personnel.

  • Prepare, review, and submit detailed expense reports and purchase requisitions.

  • Maintain and manage office supply inventory efficiently.

  • Initiate, track, process, and verify complex data from multiple sources.

  • Efficiently utilize various IT platforms for daily administrative tasks.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with contacts on military bases and government buildings.

  • Prepare and edit communications, presentations, and documents.

  • Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Handle high-level administrative tasks with a focus on business operations.

  • Facilitate coordination between teams and departments.

  • Support onboarding and training for new employees.

  • Organize team-building and employee engagement activities

  • Draft and review internal and external communications.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Manage the flow of information and communications.

  • A United States Government SECRET Security Clearance is required for employment. Applicants who do not currently have a USG security clearance are welcome to apply and, if selected, will be processed for a USG security clearance by SNC prior to employment. Employment will begin once the USG security clearance is granted. If applicant is unable to obtain USG security clearance, the offer of employment will be withdrawn

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ years of relevant experience.

  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.

  • Exceptional integrity-handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote and SharePoint Online)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

  • Proficient with Travel and Expense Platforms (e.g. Concur), and Project Management Applications (e.g. Smartsheet or Microsoft Project).

  • Proficient knowledge of administrative practices including preparing expense reports and purchase requisitions and coordinating meetings, events and travel.

  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with teams.

  • Ability to develop solutions to moderately complex problems by applying experience and knowledge.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment.

  • Manual dexterity for handling office supplies and equipment.

  • Ability to work in an office environment.

  • Ability to travel may be required.
