Technical Analyst

Location: Cleveland, Ohio (Onsite - 5 days a week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Analyst to support a recent acquisition integration initiative. The analyst will play a key role in data mapping, transformation, and validation activities, helping move formulation and operational data from one system to another. This position requires collaboration with developers, database specialists, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to bridge business requirements with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze source system data structures to support data mapping and transformation requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks throughout transformation processes.
• Assist in documenting data flows, mappings, and integration logic.
• Support testing activities, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), smoke testing, validation, and performance testing.
• Identify and troubleshoot data and process issues, escalating as needed.
• Ensure alignment with global standards, data governance, and process requirements.
• Provide reporting and updates on data transformation progress and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with data transformation, ETL processes, data mapping, system integration, or technical business analysis.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, including data querying.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions.
• Experience supporting waterfall projects with defined milestones and deliverables.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process manufacturing, chemical, or other regulated environments is beneficial to understand formulation, regulatory, inventory, and product data relationships.
