So, what does a Technical Analyst, Enterprise Applications do?
The Technical Analyst identifies and translates business needs into technical solutions, while supporting system implementations, configurations, data analysis, and end user support activities. The Technical Analyst also performs updates to realize business requirements and improvement opportunities. Frequent stakeholder engagement across all functions and levels of the organization is essential
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration & Configuration: Perform user access management, configuration, analysis, and related activities for ERP, Dispatch, Sales/CRM, Marketing, Fleet Mgmt., and other SaaS platforms.
- Technical Implementation & Support: Implement new software and maintain existing applications by identifying, tracking and resolving issues. Assist in the planning, selection, development, and implementation of new technology, including AI/automation. Manage system upgrades and code promotions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize SQL and BI tools (Power BI) to analyze system performance, perform database analysis, and create insights for stakeholders. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all systems.
- Process Improvement: Analyze workflows to recommend and introduce improvements in technology or operational procedures. Monitor, maintain, and support automated business processes to ensure continuity of critical operations.
- Testing & Quality Control: Perform technical testing to enable User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Configure and maintain testing tools (e.g. Microsoft Azure DevOps). Incorporate and track IT/admin and IT Security functions as part of testing cycles.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, requirements, reports, and user guides.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with development teams to build, test, and implement technical solutions. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical problems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks, issues, or improvement opportunities.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed technical solutions.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies and systems.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in a systems analyst, IT analyst, or IT-related role, with proven implementation and/or support experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of databases (SQL), data visualization tools, API connections, cloud infrastructure, and system development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and analyze data to guide decision-making.
- Knowledge of large-scale systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS). Microsoft D365 F&O experience is a plus.
- Experience with software development and programming languages.
- Excellent communication skills are essential to engage with senior leadership, project stakeholders, and cross functional teams.
- A track record of supporting complex system implementations or upgrades is a plus.
- Experience with ITSM systems like DevOps or Jira is a plus.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is preferred.
- Knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or other technical credentials are a plus.
- Experience with financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis is a plus.
- Proven understanding of network architecture and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity / IT security principles and best practices.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
