Shift: Monday-Friday, 1st shift hours Duration: 09 Months Pay range: $39.90 Hourly - $39.90 Hourly Onsite Job How will you make an impact? Niche Diagnostics within the Clinical Diagnostics Division is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and experienced professional to join the Research and Development department at Fremont, California. The R&D Scientist position is a hands-on bench position responsible for verification and validation studies on various clinical analyzers within the Applications Team in a laboratory environment to support the launch of new assay applications. What will you do? • Execute various studies using clinical chemistry analyzers • Write, edit, and secure approval of protocols, reports, and technical documents • Compile, analyze data, and interpret results • Troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions How will you get here? Education • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline Experience • BA/BS or equivalent in life science discipline with 3 or more years related experience, MS degree or PhD degree in life science discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Demonstrated ability for technical proficiency • Hands on experience operating automated clinical chemistry analyzers • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Good organization and multi-tasking skills • Computer skills such as Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of FDA/ISO design control and regulatory requirements related to IVD products • Familiarity with CLSI procedures Employee Benefits: At LanceSoft, full time regular employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week or more are entitled to the following benefits: Four options of medical Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance 401k Contributions Critical Illness Insurance Voluntary Permanent Life Insurance Accident Insurance Other Employee Perks About LanceSoft LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
