Technical Architect

Job Title: Solution Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will possess strong Solution Architecture knowledge and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions that meet business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, high performance solutions that align with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
Lead architectural discussions and provide guidance on best practices for solution design and implementation.
Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions and implementations.
Document architectural designs, processes, and standards for future reference.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solution architecture practices.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven expertise in Solution Architecture with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
In depth knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of data architecture and database design principles.
Experience in enterprise integration patterns and API design.
Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Solution Architecture.
Proven track record of leading architectural initiatives and delivering high quality solutions.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
