Role: Technical Architecture Specialist
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Develop new SSRS reports and database objects against complex enterprise databases (SQL Server and Oracle); modify and enhance existing reports and objects.
Create and maintain .NET Core MVC applications.
Design relational and multidimensional databases; perform performance tuning for SSRS reports.
Conduct thorough testing of reports and database objects prior to user testing.
Apply Agile development principles and utilize Azure DevOps for work items, status tracking, and time estimation.
Gather and document business requirements; assist in designing reporting solutions and configuring report servers/security.
Research new software releases and assist in upgrade processes.
Manage code repositories using GIT.
Adhere to organizational and administrative standards.
Ensure best practices are followed and provide mentorship to team members.
Document all work for future reference and execute tasks independently.
Create, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
Publish and manage Power BI reports across different environment workspaces.
Experience: 3–5 years of related work experience.
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study (highly desired).
Microsoft Tools: Extensive experience, including in-depth SSRS development and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL operations.
.NET Stack: In-depth experience with .NET Core, MVC, C#, dependency injection, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Database Management:
In-depth experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and SQL Developer.
In-depth experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQL Server Management Studio.
Extensive experience handling large datasets and reporting from varied sources.
Data Modeling: In-depth ability to analyze and understand complex database designs.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
