Position Overview:
BridgePhase is seeking a self-driven, customer-focused Technical Business Analyst to support the modernization and continued evolution of mission-critical enterprise software for a Federal customer. This individual will work directly with customer stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, translate them into actionable software requirements, support testing and validation, and help drive enhancements from concept through delivery.
The ideal candidate enjoys working at the intersection of users, mission, and technology - someone who can understand how software is being used today, identify opportunities to make it better, and work collaboratively with engineers and stakeholders to turn those needs into solutions. This role requires a strong problem solver who can navigate a fast-paced technical environment, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of work through completion.
This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Candidates must be able to successfully complete the required customer crossover process. This is a fully onsite role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with customer stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable software requirements and user stories.
- Help shape and improve modernized software capabilities by analyzing workflows, identifying pain points, and recommending practical solutions.
- Work as part of an integrated software delivery team throughout the full development lifecycle—from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement.
- Support functional testing, user acceptance, and validation to ensure new capabilities solve the right problems and meet customer expectations.
- Investigate application and user issues, working alongside engineers to identify root causes and drive solutions.
- Support the continued modernization, enhancement, and operation of mission-critical enterprise software.
- Engage directly with users and stakeholders to gather feedback, refine requirements, and continuously improve the product.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment and take ownership of work from initial need through successful completion.
Education & Experience Requirements:- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise software, digital transformation, or IT modernization initiatives.
- Experience working directly with customers and end users to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working with software development teams and supporting activities such as requirements analysis, testing, validation, and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in understanding both the business and technical sides of software delivery.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.
