Technical Business Analyst

Title: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Woodlawn, MD
Duration: Long-term W2 contract
Compensation: $58-60/HR
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders

 

Position Description:

• Analyze business processes to identify, define, and document business and system requirements.
• Develop complex SQL queries, join multiple tables, and perform data transformations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support shared goals, including facilitating meetings and communicating information.
• Develop clear, concise, and actionable user stories that accurately reflect stakeholder requirements.
• Perform manual testing.

 

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Experience defining system documentation requirements and developing Data Flow Diagrams and Use Cases.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and executing manual tests.
• Strong experience working in an Agile methodology, with knowledge of SDLC and CMMI Level 3 methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and API testing.
• Strong communication, technical writing, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience with requirements management tools and requirements gathering methodologies.
• Ability to identify data anomalies and recommend effective solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical and analytical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Master's degree with 5+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience, or 13+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
