Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst
Locations: Newark, NJ - (No Remote – 3 days in office)
Duration: 6 Months
Salary Range: $50 - $56/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst to support a global financial services client environment. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, and plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting critical platforms, and delivering change across business and technology teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5 years proven experience in a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within financial services / capital markets.
- Hands-on experience supporting investment, trading, risk, operations, or regulatory reporting data platforms in a production environment.
- Experience working with industry-standard investment or portfolio management platforms.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong financial services / capital markets domain knowledge.
- Solid SQL skills.
- Experience with Agile delivery models.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery and support of financial services data products, from requirement intake through production support, ensuring stability, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Act as the primary Technical BSA for BAU and production data issues, taking accountability for root cause analysis, remediation, and prevention of recurring issues.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate financial domain business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications.
