Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst for a Contract with a client in Newark, NJ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with expertise supporting financial data platforms, analyzing complex business requirements, and driving end-to-end delivery of data products within capital markets environments.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Business Systems Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Own end-to-end delivery and support of financial data products, ensuring data accuracy, stability, timeliness, and operational readiness across business and technology platforms.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, data mappings, transformation rules, and technical solutions.

• Investigate and resolve production data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.

• Develop and execute complex SQL queries to analyze data, validate business logic, support data provisioning, and troubleshoot data quality issues.

• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Data Engineering teams to support data onboarding, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.

• Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, testing support, and release readiness while driving process optimization and data governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 8-10 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Management environments.

• Strong expertise in financial services data platforms and SQL, including complex query development, data analysis, production support, data mapping, and troubleshooting business-critical data issues.

• Experience collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive end-to-end resolution of data quality and operational issues.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
