The Services Central Marketing Privacy Operations Team is instrumental in ensuring that marketing communications and new product features for Apple's media products and services adhere to Apple's privacy commitments and meet global compliance requirements for millions of users across various Apple services, including Apple TV+, Music, Arcade, Fitness+, App Store, Apple One, and iCloud.

We are seeking a Technical Compliance Lead to drive the development and execution of our privacy program across Product Design and Marketing. You will partner closely with Privacy Engineering, Privacy Legal, and our Services product teams to ensure we use best-in-class privacy practices, features, and compliance guidelines when launching experiences globally.

This role requires someone who is fluent in privacy principles, technically savvy, and able to lead programs that reduce risk while enabling innovation. Youll also partner with cross-functional global teams - including Central Marketing Operations - to help drive operational efficiency in how privacy requirements are implemented in marketing workflows. Your efforts will impact platforms touching millions of customers and developers worldwide. As a Technical Compliance Lead, youll build and support a privacy compliance program for our Product Design and Marketing teams, serving as the program lead for privacy-by-design implementation. Youll partner closely with - and be closely advised by - multiple legal teams, while driving execution across Product, Design, and Marketing.

Youll tackle novel problems, manage multiple projects with varying levels of urgency and impact, and research, experiment, and collaborate on new solutions. Successful candidates are passionate about privacy, can work through ambiguous problems independently, and enjoy context-switching between projects. Strong candidates also have a track record of driving complex regulatory work that requires input and prioritization across multiple organizations.Translate legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., DMA, GDPR, CCPA) into actionable, business-facing programs that are auditable and sustainable Define and drive compliance requirements, including data mapping, risk assessments, and incident preparedness Monitor evolving privacy and compliance regulations and ensure technical controls meet or exceed compliance expectations Support internal audits and external assessments by organizing and communicating technical privacy safeguards Develop training and enablement materials to help Product, Design, and Marketing teams operationalize privacy requirements Partner with Central Marketing Operations to build scalable, privacy-compliant marketing workflows10+ years of experience managing complex programs in privacy, security, or data governance Strong understanding of global privacy laws and their technical implications (e.g., data minimization, purpose limitation, encryption, access control) Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, or privacy impact assessments (PIAs) Technical fluency - able to engage with engineers and understand systems architecture, even without writing code Working knowledge of SQL or similar tools to support data mapping and risk assessments Experience leading projects involving AI/ML integration into automated marketing messaging and consumer-facing applications Experience working in cross-functional environments with product, engineering, legal, and compliance stakeholders Experience partnering with privacy and legal teams to evaluate global data usage Flexibility to manage rapidly changing, time-constrained schedules Experience working across different global cultures a plus Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management Strong leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively and influence stakeholders Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsB.S./M.S. in a relevant or quantitative discipline: Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or Economics Privacy certifications such as CIPT, CIPP/US, or CISM
