We are seeking a positive, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and administrative skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves high-volume order entry, customer support, quoting, invoicing, order tracking, and coordinating with sales, operations, procurement, finance, and product management teams.
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY SCHEDULE! 8AM-5PM WITH 1 HOUR LUNCH!!
*8 week project, but could be permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Provides customer and technical service over the telephone and via email to customers and Sales Executives.
- Provides technical and product information, solicits customer orders and suggests additional products.
- Maintains responsibility of orders from quotation to delivery.
- Responds to customer inquiries.
- Provides price quotations.
- Processes customers’ orders and sends order acknowledgements.
- Invoicing.
- Tracks and keeps records of quotes, customer returns and backorders.
- Maintains consistent interface with:
o Customers and their representatives
o Outside Sales Team including Upper Management
o Manufacturing and Operations in the US and Abroad (Including Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics)
o Finance Department
o Product Management
Additional Responsibilities
- Answers all telephone, email, fax inquiries. Addresses all customers’ requests and solves problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Notifying customers of order status
- Making sure orders are processed in a timely manner, so that all materials are ordered.
- Working with procurement department on out of stock / late PO’s
- Assist Customers with any questions in regards to shipping, progress of order and any other questions applicable
- Continually updating open order report to ensure orders are shipped by customers expected delivery dates.
- Process RMA’s for warranty replacement / Repair Service orders
- Work with Product Managers to update List pricing.
- Assisting Supervisor with daily duties
- Provide back up to the Front Desk Staff as needed.
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in a Sales and Manufacturing environment (Semiconductor Industry or related background ideal).
- Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal) to confidentially explain information and converse with customers/clients.
- Organizational skills required to effectively process all paperwork through the Customer Service process.
- Must be a team player
- Excellent Typing and Data entry skills are required. Computer proficiency is required in Microsoft office.
- Attention to Detail and Timeliness required.
- Experience with ERP system required, preferably Syteline or NetSuite, or equivalent software product.
Education/Training
- Associates or Bachelors degree a plus, although not required.
- The Job holder will be required to develop some working knowledge of the company’s product, with a special emphasis in spares, repairs and rotors.
