Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years of technical school preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of basic customer service and/or order/data entry experience (relevant technical experience will be considered)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate customer records and documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer phone calls and develop technical quotations for brushes, brush holders, and molded brushes for end users, distributors, and OEM customers
  • Respond to customer concerns, issues, and questions, and enter, route, and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Act as subject matter specialist to help customers identify the right product and receive samples using measuring tools to gather dimensions
  • Work with design and production teams to communicate customer needs, identify feasible solutions, and perform technical product costing and pricing
  • Enter data into company database including master maintenance, customer documentation, and application database, and learn company part numbering system and search tools
