Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years of technical school preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of basic customer service and/or order/data entry experience (relevant technical experience will be considered)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer phone calls and develop technical quotations for brushes, brush holders, and molded brushes for end users, distributors, and OEM customers
- Respond to customer concerns, issues, and questions, and enter, route, and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
- Act as subject matter specialist to help customers identify the right product and receive samples using measuring tools to gather dimensions
- Work with design and production teams to communicate customer needs, identify feasible solutions, and perform technical product costing and pricing
- Enter data into company database including master maintenance, customer documentation, and application database, and learn company part numbering system and search tools
