Job Description
Job Title: Technical Data Analyst Location: Warren, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Rate: DOE
Duration: Contract
Key Responsibilities- Review and document existing data assets across multiple source systems
- Analyze and document current processes, including identifying gaps and limitations
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns
- Create data mapping artifacts and define transformation rules
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to align with reporting standards
- Validate data accuracy, integrity, and completeness
- Identify and document data quality issues and discrepancies
- Provide ad-hoc analysis, data profiling, and decision support
- Translate complex data findings into clear business insights for stakeholders
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- 57 years of experience as a Data Analyst in the P&C insurance industry
- Strong understanding of policy and claims management systems
- Hands-on expertise in SQL (mandatory)
- Experience with data analysis tools/languages such as Python or R
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
